Our Crowned Head™ pin arrangement accounts for flexing of the plug during the crimping process and reliably delivers evenly crimped pins. This is accomplished by making the pins on the crimp die very slightly higher in the center (similar to the shape of a crown). Crimp tools that incorporate this arrangement are among the most accurate and highest quality in the world.
